The campground is holding a block of 12 sites for our group. Please call the campground directly to reserve your site and send back the registration form below with your rally fee payment after you book your site. The campground will release unreserved sites to the public so please register by April 1st to get your spot in the reserved block.
- Rally Dates: May 30 to June 2, 2024
- Location: Croton Point Park, 1A Croton Point Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Phone # 914-862-5290
- Campground Fee: $45.00 per night. This is a discounted rate since we are Westchester County residents (payable directly to the campground upon registration). Please note that all sites are full hook-up sites and pets are welcome.
- Rally/Kitty Fee: $30.00/pp. Your rally fee must be sent to us at the time you make your campground reservation to be fully registered for the rally. Please mail your check to: Colleen Ahlers, 6 Grace Lane, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
The rally fee covers the following:
- Firewood - Please note that firewood is not allowed to be brought into the park. Certified kiln dried packaged wood must be purchased.
- 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts which are marked as "included" below
Itinerary:
Thursday, May 30th
- Check in is 2:00 pm
- 5:00 - Help with tent set up
- 6:00 PM - Meet and Greet Happy Hour (Bring a Heavy Appetizer to share)
- Campfire
Friday, May 31
- Breakfast on your own. Feel free to bring your breakfast out to the tent. Coffee will be provided.
- Activity - Hiking
- 4:00 pm - Happy Hour
- 6:00 pm - Pot Luck Dinner
- Campfire
Saturday, June 1
- Pancake and sausage breakfast (included)
- Activity - Kayaking
- 4:00 pm Happy Hour
- 6:00 pm Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and Potato Chips (included)
- Campfire
Sunday, June 2
- Bagels and cream cheese (included)
- Tent dissemble and depart - Check out is 11:00 am
Activities: We plan on taking a hike on Friday and kayaking the Croton River on Saturday. The Croton River is an easy, serene paddle. If you are interested in kayaking, and you have a kayak, please bring it. If you would like to rent a kayak, below is the link for reservations and more information. Paddling the Croton River is a lot more fun when the tide is high so you don't have to get out and walk across low spot. Therefore we will base our kayak trip around high-tide, so the time is (TBD). Since this is the case, if you plan on renting a kayak, please let me know. We plan on checking the tide chart when the date becomes available and then let you know what time-slot to book.
Bring your bicycles too! It's a great campground for riding bikes and there is a path along the river.
