Rollin to the Big Easy
During our thirteen-day caravan, be prepared to enjoy a unique sampler of the best of Louisiana culture. You will absorb the natural beauty and history of the region as you sightsee with experienced leaders, tap your feet to the beat of live Cajun and jazz music, and sample a culinary delight of the best food and drink the state can offer. We will visit a crawfish farm and Co-op and partake in our own private crawfish boil. Louisiana sugar plantations date back to mid 1700’s and we will tour the largest rum distillery and sample their products. In Breaux Bridge we will glide through a primeval swamp to view alligators and wildlife. For a change of pace, we will visit the oldest original Cajun dance hall featuring authentic live Cajun band. When we roll into The BIG EASY, you will enjoy five days packed with history, food and entertainment including a private performance at the world-famous Preservation Hall and dine at two five-star restaurants in the French Quarter. While immersing yourself in these experiences you might even learn the difference between Cajun & Creole cultures.
