Let's rally together on three dark nights in August at the Stargazers RV Resort in Goldendale, WA! Goldendale has long been a great place for stargazing due to its location in the wide open and low-lightpollution spaces of South-Central Washington. The bonus is that our rally site is located just 3 miles from the Goldendale Observatory!

Our rally is scheduled on the new moon weekend in August so the sky should be ideal for studying the cosmos. Co-hosts, Tim and Tammy Straub of the WA club, will have their telescope equipment on hand to show us the spectacular images that this weekend will serve up. Budding astronomers are welcome to bring their gear also.

Your daytime activities could include hiking, wine tasting, visiting fruit stands, fishing, biking, golfing and visits to the Maryhill Museum of Art, Maryhill State Park, Stonehenge Memorial, St. John's Monastery, and the Presby Museum. There's so much to explore in this part of Washington!

Meals and Food

We’ve learned a lot having lived through a global pandemic. How we approach meals and food at rallies has changed as a result. Hosted meals are completely optional.

The type and number of meals, if any, to be made available is decided by the rally host. Each host will decide on meals and prices for their meals. Meal costs are not included in your rally registration fee. Most often, hosts decide any rally meal plan closer to the rally date and you will hear from them directly with that information.

Participation in meals is completely optional and any meal cost will be defined by the rally host. If you participate in any meals offered by your host, you will need to pay your host directly.
