Airstreams on Mainstreet Rally
Havana, FL

What’s Happening?
Downtown streets will be open for Airstream parking.   At this boondocking rally, generators are permitted 7:30 AM-7:00 PM. No rally fee and parking is free.  We want you to patronize the local restaurants and businesses.  A wine tour, pancake breakfast, museum tour, open house of Airstreams, and live music are scheduled.
About Havana
Havana's historic downtown was built to service the shade tobacco industry that flourished from the late 1800's until 1970.  Eventually Havana's shade tobacco era came to an end and downtown became a ghost town.  In the early 1980's, downtown was revived with the advent of entrepreneurs opening various businesses.  For the next 25 years, the downtown area thrived.  Then came the 2008 recession and downtown Havana was dealt a devastating blow.  Businesses closed, buildings were vacated and the luster of this beautiful small town was severely tarnished.  A small core of businesses survived and are now coming back.  Havana Main Street was launched in May of 2017 to assist in the revitalization of downtown. Region 9 Rally
Bandera, TX

Hook up the chuck wagon and get your orders from the trail boss (your wife you know) and point your wagon toward Skyline RV Ranch in Bandera, Texas.  Bandera is known as The Cowboy Capital of Texas.
Plan your trail ride to arrive May 6th because that is when we will be circling the wagons and lighting the campfire.  We’ll have plenty of entertainment and vittles for about 6 days before you can break camp and head back to your ranch.  There will be time to visit some sights around our camp area and maybe even play a game or two.  The last time we were there, I even saw some fellers battin a little white ball around a cow pasture.  Can you imagine that.
Bring your best steak or something to BBQ as we will be doing a big cook out with some of the surrounding ranch hands and listening to some good western music at the 11th street bar.  Just remember that the 11th street bar is a family place so shootin out the lights or fightin ain’t allowed.  Get well rested cause we plan to hoot and holler until all the way up to maybe even 8:00 o’clock.  Maybe even later if you’r a youn’un.
It would sure help us out if you would go ahead and sign up early so the ranch foreman will have a little pocket money and be able to know how many viddles to buy.
This will be the 50th time we have had this roundup and spaces around the campfire may be gone before you sign up, so get signed up as early as you can.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta National Rally
Albuquerque, NM

Join us for our 13th annual Balloon Fiesta National Rally! Ask those who have been with us in previous years and they will tell you what a great event this is.
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta got its start in 1972 when 13 balloons launched from a local shopping center. It has grown into the world’s premier ballooning event.
In 2018, over 900,000 spectators attended Balloon Fiesta, the most photographed event in the world. Over 700 balloon pilots representing 19 countries came to experience the famous Albuquerque Box, cool morning temperatures and the geography of the Rio Grande Valley cause lower winds to blow south and higher winds to blow north. By adjusting altitude, skillful pilots can make several passes and return to the launch field to land. During the Mass Ascension, hundreds of balloons, including 108 special shapes, filled the clear, early morning skies.
The best way to experience Balloon Fiesta is, without a doubt, by attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta National Rally.  For 2019, we have again secured 150 premium dry camping sites. Attendees can be on the launch field in minutes after getting out of bed and can walk up right next to the balloons as they launch.  Alternatively, you can sit in lawn chairs by their trailers and wait for the balloons to drift by overhead.  Watch for registration information on our website balloonfiestarally.wbcci.net sometime in mid to late January.  Do not hesitate to sign up as this rally fills quickly. The 2019 rally runs from Friday, October 4 to Tuesday, October 8.  Check us out on Facebook/balloonfiestarally for more information. We hope to see you there!!

Region 6 Rally
Muscle Shoals, AL

Join us in October 2019 for the Region 6 Rally in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.  The Shoals produced much of the music we old folks grew up with, and there is more to do in the Shoals than you'll have time for.  The area encompasses four towns: Muscle Shoals, Florence, Tuscumbia and Sheffield.
In Muscle Shoals there is Fame Studio and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
Florence has the W.C. Handy (the father of the blues) house and museum, and the only Frank Lloyd  Wright structure in Alabama - Rosebaum House.
Tuscumbia is home to the Helen Keller birthplace as well as the Rattlesnake Saloon, a bar built in a cave.
Sheffield hosts the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, a picture of which is on a the jacket of a Cher album.
We are working on a special half day music tour.  More to follow.
This year we're doing something a little different.  The rally will run from Thursday through Monday on Columbus Day weekend.  Hopefully, this will give more working Airstreamers a chance to attend without using up vacation days. Come join us. We'll have a great time!
