Join the Washington DC Unit at the Lazy-A Campground in Hedgesville, WV. Lazy-A Campground is a private family campground located on a farm in the back creek valley with a mix of camping.
Located 85 miles west of Washington DC and 30 miles north of Winchester, VA; the campground is bordered by a creek big enough to swim, fish, or sit your camp chair in and cool off your feet.
Lazy-A has partial hookups, with water and 30A electricity only. Sites are grassy, mostly level, and
have partial to full shade. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There is a dump station on the way out.
Amenities include a bathhouse and dog park on site. Check-in starts at 2:00 pm and check-out is at 1:00 pm.
Sites 14-23 in the woods near the creek access have been secured for the club. Additional sites 9-13 along the tree line are also available for booking if preferred. The campsite rate is $40.00 per night plus processing fee/tax. A full refund is available for cancellations made 7 days in advance. Check with the campground for cancellations less than 7 days.

Reservations can be made directly on the campground website. Reservations need to be secured for 1 night by credit card. When booking , make note in the comments that you are with the WDCU airstream group, the length of your airstream, and if you have a site preference. If you prefer to make your reservation by phone, call Mariah Nims, the campground owner, at 240-925-7009.
Joe and I hope you will make plans to join us at the campground for some fun and relaxation. Schedule and rally fee are still being finalized, but don’t wait to make your reservations now. Preferred sites will be held through February 29th.
