On June 29, 1966, the 9th International Rally was held in the small town of Cadillac, Michigan. A whopping 2828 Airstreams gathered for a week just south of the Wexford County Airport and was said to be one of the largest rallies.

Given this rich history, we intend to tie our rally to the past by sharing archival documents about the international rally.

About the venue: The Cadillac Veterans Serving Veterans organization was gifted a large property near the original site of the 1966 rally and they have graciously welcomed us to hold our rally on their property. Vets Serving Vets is an all-volunteer organization and they are in the process of developing this terrific property. There is a large pavilion, rest rooms with one shower, and water taps available. The park has a path used as a high school cross-country race course and carved stone monuments commemorating veterans. There is ample RV parking on mowed grass, however there are no hookups.

Please note: This is a boondocking rally held at Veterans Serving Veterans Park. Wondering about how to boondock? Contact Dale & Kat. We can help!

You will enjoy the nearby beaches on Lakes Cadillac and Mitchell, paved bike/walking trail around Lake Cadillac, great restaurant choices nearby and the Saturday farmers market at the pavilion. Downtown Cadillac hosts the 56th annual juried Art Fair and the Model T Ford International Tour will be in town that weekend. Lots of fun things to do. Explore Cadillac HERE.
