Join us at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, MD, just a short drive to Sharpsburg, MD, where you can step back in time and follow in the footsteps of Civil War soldiers who battled at the historic Battle of Antietam on September 17, 1862. This battle holds the grim distinction of being the bloodiest day in American history, with a staggering toll of 22,727 dead, wounded, or missing.

But that's not all this area has to offer. Beyond the battlefield, you can explore fascinating attractions like the Crystal Grottoes Caverns, Washington Monument State Park, and the renowned Gettysburg National Military Park. While the park doesn't permit group campsite reservations, there's currently ample availability and a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate changing plans.

Loop when you see the campground map.

The rates are reasonable at $29.50 per night, plus a $6.50 reservation fee.

Please note that the campsites offer electric hookups only, but you'll have access to potable water and a dump station.
