This year, there are options for four different bus trips offering a choice to explore a museum, a library, a penitentiary or a horse ranch!

The Famous Budweiser Clydesdales, Historic Car Museum, Lewis & Clark Trail plus artifacts, Old Jail & Hanging Barn, lunch and more!

Embark on a thrilling journey through Boonville, Missouri, where excitement awaits at every corner. Our adventure begins at Warm Springs Ranch, where you'll meet over 100 magnificent horses, including adorable newborn foals, on a captivating narrated tour. Afterward, explore Boonville's rich history at the "Rivers,Rails and Trails Museum" while enjoying a delicious catered lunch. Nearby, the Mitchell Car Museum showcases vintage automobiles from the early 1900s, where passionate volunteers will share fascinating insights.Continue our journey with a narrated driving tour of Boonville, highlighting landmarks like the historic jail and Hanging Barn. Cross the Missouri River to see the monument honoring the Boonslick Trail's end and the Santa Fe Trail's start. Finally, pay tribute to veterans at an impressive memorial, concluding our memorable exploration of Boonville's past. '

The National World War One Museum and the Steamboat Arabia

These are the top museums in Kansas City! The WWI museum is a National Landmark dedicated to preserving the history and artifacts of the First World War. It features weaponry, cannons, a 1917 Harley-Davidson army motorcycle, and even a simulated trench with sound effects. There are also posters, uniforms, films, maps, music and much more to explore! During this trip, lunch won't be provided, but you can dine at the "Over There Cafe" inside the museum. It offers delicious and affordable food, and you can even return to the museum after eating to see more exhibits. Don't forget to check out the gift shop with books, pictures, and DVDs on military history. Next, we'll visit the Steamboat Arabia Museum, offering a treasure hunting adventure! This steamboat sank in 1856 but was discovered 132 years later with its cargo intact. You'll see frontier necessities like clothing, shoes, canned goods, toys, and more, all beautifully displayed thanks to a special preservation process. It's an interesting experience with knowledgeable docents guiding you through the exhibits.

The President Truman Library, a Carriage House Luncheon, and a mansion tour, plus the Episcopal Church where the Trumans were married

Welcome to "Harry & Bess: A Love Story," a tour that reveals the special places in Independence connected to the Trumans. We start with a tour of the newly expanded Truman Presidential Library, offering a memorable experience with its impressive artifacts. During our journey to lunch, enjoy a narrated driving tour of the famous square, including a stop to see the statue of President Truman. Lunch is served at the elegant Bingham-Waggoner Carriage House, followed by a tour of the adjacent mansion. Our next stop is the historic Episcopal Church, where the Trumans and Daniels were married. Learn about their weddings and see replicas of the dresses. Wrap up the tour with refreshments provided by the church ladies. Come along for a delightful journey through love and history.
