The Wally Byam Caravan Club International is providing its members with an opportunity to listen live (by streaming audio) to the Board of Trustees Seminar and Meeting.

The Seminar will be broadcast from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012. The session usually breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

The IBT Executive Board will meet on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, beginning at 8:15 a.m. to be followed immediately by the International Board of Trustees meeting. There will be a break for lunch from approximately 12 noon to 1 p.m.

The Delegates Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012, beginning at 8:30.

Audio for the meetings will be streamed live. A windows Streaming Server is being used. Anyone who wants to listen to the meetings must use Windows Media Player and connect to the audio at http://WBCCI.primcast.com/WBCCI.

The feed will begin approximately 10 minutes before the meeting begins. The microphone will be closed during recess and music will be played during this period.

An archive of each of the meetings will be made and posted on the WBCCI Web Site as soon as possible after each of the meetings. In the interest of full disclosure, some of these files have been edited to remove extended sections of silence. This has been done to lower download times and improve usability. Full audio recordings are available upon request.

What Is A Revised Constitution?

The following information from the Constitution Revision Committee is to address various questions about the proposed Revised WBCCI Constitution.

WHAT IS A REVISED CONSTITUTION?

  1. It is NOT an amendment of the current Constitution.
  2. It IS proposed extensive changes to the Constitution that are scattered throughout and make this an entirely NEW Constitution. This is the definition that is stated on page 575 of the WBCCI Parliamentary Authority, Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised current edition (RONR).
  3. This proposed Revised Constitution, following the current Constitution rules, will be presented by the International President to the Delegates for their consideration. It was developed by a Special Committee created by the Executive Committee and appointed by the President following RONR, page 549. This Special committee and the Executive Committee refined this proposed Revision, which is the document with the line numbers.
