Spring is almost upon us.  Snowbirds have either started their trek up north, or they are thinking about it.  Sandy and I are very glad that winter is over for us on the Gulf Coast.  We, as former Buckeyes, experienced our first ice and snow storm in Florida - and we have lived here over thirty years!

We are a little over three months from the 57th WBCCI International Rally at Cam-Plex in Gillette, Wyoming.  This rally will honor all military veterans who attended by attaching a "Veteran" ribbon to their rally ribbon.  Veterans will be carrying the national flags in Opening Ceremony.  All three national anthems will be sung by Terrol Rogers - American, Canadian and Australian - at Opening Ceremony.  We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of all our military veterans from each country.  We salute you!

There is a terrific line-up of entertainers scheduled at Gillette.  Cam-Plex is sponsoring Gillette Night Sunday, June 29, with Kenny Miller as the featured performer.  Kenny performs tribute shows - telling the lives and singing the songs of Roy Orbison, Marty Robbins, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers, Elvis and Merle Haggard.

June 30, our Concert Band under the very able leadership of Barbara Lambrechi, will perform.  WBCCI is fortunate to have a skilled, professional musician lead our fantastic band.

July 1, Canada Day's evening entertainment will be our own Scott Woods Band.  If you didn't see them perform at Sedalia, Missouri, you are in for a real treat.  If you saw them at Sedalia, you know how great they are!

Yancey de Veer, a singing cowboy, will be our entertainment on July 2.  We saw Yancey perform at the Florida State Rally some years ago when the Rally was in Sarasota, Florida.  Yancey performs in Deadwood, South Dakota, in the summer months.

Committee Chairman slots are still available.  Please let Cindy Reed or me know if you are interested in a particular Chairmanship.  This rally is not a one man show - it is a team effort.  WBCCI, in my option, is the greatest RV club there is, and working together, we can make it even better.

Wishing everyone many blessings and safe travels. John and Sandy Stumpf
